Trainer Kristina Carmody has been in the professional pet industry for over 9 years. She has worked as a kennel supervisor, pet care technician, and veterinary assistant before getting her professional certification as a Canine Behavior and Training Specialist from the world renowned Triple Crown Academy for Professional Dog Trainers and her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech. As a top graduate of Triple Crown Academy's extensive 12-week course and through her previous canine experiences, Kristina is qualified in basic and advanced obedience, puppy socialization and imprinting, clicker training, behavior modification, agility, kennel and breeding management, personal and sport protection techniques, tracking, and scent discrimination.
Kristina is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, American Working Malinois Association, and USA and DVG Schutzhund organizations, and regularly continues her education through seminars and workshops. When not working with clients and their dogs, she spends time training her own dogs in schutzhund and agility and is the current President of the DC Metro YP Kiwanis Club.
